Week 5: Titans (2-2) at Bills (0-4)
Buffalo looks nothing like the 2017 upstart wild card team so far. But after four games with the Ravens, Chargers, Vikings, and Packers, the Titans look like a reprieve.
Tennessee comes out flat and pays the price. Buffalo avoids a 0-5 start and gives upstate New York fans a glimmer of hope. Titans fans are shocked. (Bills 21-17)
Week 6: Ravens (3-2) at Titans (2-3)
The Titans host the Ravens at just the right moment. After a 0-3 start, they dropped a heart-breaker in Pittsburgh and then suffered the ultimate insult; a loss to the Cleveland Browns.
That’s even worse than losing to the Bills. Tennessee regroups first and gives Baltimore their third consecutive road loss. (Titans 21-17)
Week 7: Titans (3-3) at Chargers (4-2)
For the second week in a row, the Titans face a team coming off a loss in Cleveland. Philip Rivers gets to find his bearings in front of a home crowd and that is the difference between the Titans Week 6 and Week 7 results.

Week 14: Jaguars (9-3) at Titans (4-8)
Jacksonville’s fifth win in a row put them back into a tie for first place with the Texans, whose winning streak ended at nine. Doug Marrone’s crew is feeling confident they can run the table and roll into the playoffs as NFC North champs.
But nobody told them about the Titans’ plans to also win out. Derick Henry and Dion Lewis run over, through, and around the Jaguars. The Titans defense stops Bortles when it counts in front of a delighted Tennessee crowd. (Titans 27-24)
Week 15: Titans (5-8) at Giants (7-6)
New York is set to host the rejuvenated Titans, but they are in no mood to be cordial. The hated Redskins ended the Giants’ five-game winning streak in Week 14, putting New York’s playoff aspirations on life support.
Tennessee can’t match the Giants’ intensity in what is essentially an elimination game for the home team. Their tempered dreams of a .500 season are dashed in New Jersey. (Giants 24-14)
